Peer led discussions of how culture forms different cognitive frameworks, to explain why specific instructional shifts matter most to Latinx students
Practical examples of how STEM faculty from HSIs have implemented shifts to improve Latinx student learning --Biochem, Math, A&P, OChem, and more!
Equity Exercises that will help you reflect on and modify own course language, labs, tests and quizzes, and discussions to become more culturally responsive to your Latinx students.
Earn the Mini-Course Certificate
Faculty who attend all sessions and submit all 5 Equity Exercises will earn the Certificate in STEM Culturally Responsive Instruction in HSIs. Zoom recordings of each session will be provided to all registered faculty during the length of the course.
