This facilitator training program provides tools to structure meetings and workshops that are inclusive and Latinx-centered- it will teach you how to embed our principles of culturally responsive facilitation that we routinely demonstrate in our educational courses and have spent the past 10 years refining and testing in HSIs across the U.S. 

formal training in Dialogic Practice

Topics, delivered via Zoom live, include how to respond confidently to common ‘derailing’ situations that occur in HSIs, as well as how to help your participants feel connected and inspired to do DEI work that moves your HSI forward in serving students.  We will also and how to protect yourself as a facilitator, as well as how to team effectively with others in facilitation.

small cohort Size

The program is intentionally small in order for participants to have opportunities to fine tune practices and skill sets through discussions with and receive private feedback from our seasoned facilitators. The course includes an Intercultural Development Inventory self-assessment and plan to increase cultural competence.
