By completing the 20-hour course, you will be able to:
Understand cultural patterns in STEM teaching & learning, and why students leave STEM;
Know how well your instructional practices are working, and for whom, by using our patented Course Grade STEM Equity Analyzer;
Learn which evidence-based teaching practices bridge cultural differences, and how to implement them in your setting.
During the course you'll see many examples of culturally balanced teaching practices, and receive individualized support for shifting your own practice from ESCALA coaches.
